A perfect retro inspired swimsuit

This swimsuit pictured here is a perfect example of how Everything but Water! The model is gorgeous and the swimsuit is gorgeous as well.  I love this swimsuit for several reasons because it really flatters the figure. Here’s why.

First of all, a solid deep jewel tone color is a true winner if you are trying to look skinny. This color is so deep and vibrant yet it gives the same exact figure slimming visual effect that a black swimsuit would. When in doubt, go with one color.

Second of all, this retro look is inspiring and the great thing about it, is that it is really just a skirted swimsuit. But, instead of looking frumpy she looks retro – brilliant! Take note plus size women and follow this tip. When looking for a skirted swimsuit that covers hips thighs and buttocks, go for a retro-inspired look. This will camouflage the fact you are wearing a skirted suit and simple look like you are wearing a retro-inspired swimsuit.

Lastly, this figure flatters her figure in every possible way. The halter straps off to the sides are flattering on big arms. The sweetheart chest-line is adorable. The sexy ruching on this swimsuit and seam up the side of the swimsuit makes the waist look totally thin. Finally, the way the skirt swoops and comes up at the sides is fantastic as it really gives a sassy look that makes her legs look thinner and longer. For a curvacious woman, this swimsuit would be a total winner. Nice!

Purple Retro Swimsuit

sexy-plus-size-swimsuit

I love this sexy plus size swimsuit from Swimsuits for All.  That site is great for plus size, it features suits size 8 and up.  While this swimsuit will not work well for a woman with love handles, it will work well for a woman who us just a little thick-bodied.

Swimsuit for bigger arms, thicker body

If you are fairly well toned but thick, this swimsuit will turn you into a real stunner!  First of all the halter straps help slender bigger arms.  The black color of the swimsuit draws focus away from the arms and the cutout patterns really draws eyes away from the arms and to her fantastic buxom and voluptuous body instead.  Don’t forget that if you have big arms its likely you have plenty of other big things to show off, so don’t be afraid to do that!  Larger women that look hot go above and beyond and the really play up their voluptuous aspects.  This model is so beautiful and also so hot – great photo!

Next you have the sweetheart neckline which really works an ample bustline.  And finally those cutouts are hot and are going to give a woman with no waist to speak of new curves to show off!  The bottom line is demure and tones down a thicker thigh.

Sexy plus size swimsuit

Overall this swimsuit is a total winner for a woman with a great body that’s just a bit larger than the usual size 6.  You can find more ideas for sexy plus size swimsuits on swimsuit site Swimsuits for All.

cynluca-swimwear

I love this soothing whimsical abstract print from Cyn and Luca. You may have never heard of Cyn and Luca before however her designs have landed in many of the top swimwear boutiques.

Cyn and Luca

Cynthia Ricciardi, the founder, graduated with a BFA degree in Fashion Design from Otis Art Institute-Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. Ricciardi worked on Seventh Avenue for Liz Claiborne and most notably for Adrienne Vittadini where for eight years, she was their head designer of the swimwear collection. She then went on her own, and started CYN & LUCA in 2001.

Because Ricciardi specialized as a swimwear and sportswear designer for over eight years in the design house of Adrienne Vittadini, she has an incredible fashion background. Her unique swimsuits have been on covers and featured in several fashion magazines such as Sports Illustrated and Harper’s Bazaar, Fitness, Women’s Wear Daily and Victoria’s Secret Catalog.

CYN & LUCA is a sleek collection for the modern woman. This swimsuit reflects the ambiance of the designer line. The Cyn and Luca designs remind me of Vittadini because they are so chic but at the same time they have a more youthful twist to them, as seen by the playful ruffles paired with ultra-chic gold O-rings on this particular swimsuit.  This swimsuit as you can see is perfectly constructed and features the finest European imported yarns, and sophisticated prints. You can see their focus on quality and construction in out suits just by looking at the details of this gorgeous swimsuit.

To see more you can check out the Cyn and Luca website or search for Cyn Luca swimsuits online to find stores that carry her designs.
