This eyelet dot Cyn & Luca tankini top would be cute for an afternoon at the pool.  The tummy coverage hides a chubby belly but at the same time the eyelet openings add sex appeal.  The ruffle halter style top is flattering too and gives enough coverage if you have ample assets.

What I liked about this tankini when I saw it on Style Hive is that it looks like it’s feminine and sexy without having that weird tankini look.  The cheesy tankini’s from cheap outlets can look really bad.  So if you’re going to do a tankini always remember you need something really, really nice because tankini’s are a tough sell.   This type of tankini would be perfect at a late afternoon poolside party where it might be a little cool to wear a skimpier number.

You could use it to go in the jacuzzi and at the same time you could throw jeans and high heel sandals or shorts on in later on the evening and turn it into a casual but sexy night outfit.  The girl is adorable holding the sun umbrella in this bathing suit.  This outfit would be cute on a petite woman as it does emit that adorable baby-doll lingerie effect.  I love the dark haired model and her accessories, especially the sun parasol.

Exotic bathing suits are in style.  Usually exotic swimming suits are the ones that have complicated cutouts, skimpy pasties, plunging necklines and one pieces that are barely there, skimpy slings of material.  The really skimpy exotic swimsuit is obviously going to work only for those girls and women that have fabulously sexy bodies.  You might be able to get away with wearing a skimpy number if you arrange yourself perfectly on the towel or lounge chair and never get up from it.

It’s almost depressing, but never fear!  Exotic swimsuits are starting to encompass all sorts of different styles.  Exotic does not have to mean skimpy and swimsuit manufacturers are figuring that out.  An exotic bathing suit is exotic mainly because its different.  There is a fabulous material, interesting texture, incredible fabric, just something that stands out from the crowd.  More and more, swimwear designers are creating bathing suits with exotic sensibility for the real women.

That means there is more coverage, body slimming features, and plus sizes available.  Just look for that added detail in the fabric, ties, closures, strings or clasps.  Something that sets a suit apart.

Blumarine is a historic brand line for the Italian company called Blufin S.p.A.  A passion and love of the sea was the inspiration behind their Blumarine label and swimsuit designs.  The fabulous exotic swimsuit shown here from their collection of a few years back makes the point that it doesn’t have to be the skimpiest one piece sling or thong to be sexy.  Just the dazzling tropical fabric and the purple trim with the butterflies make this boyshort romantic inspired.  The exotic element is that big sash tie ribbon for the halter top.  Rarely do tropical patterns look pretty since they are so easily touristy and tacky.  This one is the exception.  The fabric has a breezy romantic attitude, and its a boy short coupled together with a feminine unique top.  I love the thick ribbon tie back sash.

The trick when you look for an exotic suit (but aren’t going to make the squeeze into a micro mini bikini) is to stop looking for skimp, and start looking for uniqueness.  A unique color, stones, clasps, webbing, fabric, jewels, or any inspiration that makes the suit jump out at you is going to hit the exotic chord.  When trying on swimsuits you might encounter a few that work, but aren’t superstars.  Keep shopping because if  you try on enough suits you will eventually find the perfect bathing suit that flatters your figure and has a unique edge to it.  That’s the swim suit to buy.  It should have that exotic appeal without being ridiculously revealing.

No matter what your weight or figure type is you need to hold out for that swimsuit that you finally think, this actually makes me look great!  The swimsuit to buy is the one that is a definite yes in your mind, not a maybe or I’ll come back for it.

This black swimsuit is gorgeous.  The first noticeable feature is the color contrasting band which sweeps up to the shoulder straps.  Simple styles with a pop work really well to slenderize a plus sized body and this one piece does that perfectly with the straps.  That’s hot.  This is exactly the kind of pop you’d want on a black one piece suit.

Remember, black looks great on slender women but as you get into the plus sizes an all black swimsuit can be overwhelmingly black and make you look like a dark whale.  Not with this, since the fresh bright strap makes the suit a do.  I like how the soft fabric of this suit looks feminine and sleek but at the same time it pulls, hugs, and tucks you in all of the right places of the body.  A larger breasted woman can wear this as it has padding and a supportive elastic band running beneath the bust line.  It will keep you held up.

This wonderful swimsuit was found at swimwear365 in the UK.  The model is a beauty and she’s got curves to die for but you don’t have to be perfect to succeed in this suit.  It’s a smart style and will look fabulous on a heavier woman.  It’s a total ten out of ten winner for the plus sized woman.  The suit slenderizes and conceals, and the strapping up at the top actually leads the eyes way up above tummy, hip or leg bulge.  You get a free body lift.

Heavier women are often stacked but they don’t want to take advantage of that fact.  They should!  I can’t believe how plus sized women worry about chubby arms and body parts then totally hide the gorgeous breasts the have.  Playing up your ample assets in a tasteful way as demonstrated here is sexy.  This suit gives you an hourglass figure without letting anything hang out or sag.
