Are you into your forties and wondering whether to try wearing a bikini still? Even if you have a fabulous figure, wearing a little bikini can be entirely unnerving when you are into your forties. An older woman just doesn’t have the same skin elastisity as her younger counterpart. Somehow, an older woman in a bikini can give an illusion of exposing a little bit too much skin.

This former supermodel Stephanie Seymour shows a great choice for covering some her body while still wearing a two piece in her forties. She chooses a simple crochet, lightweight scarf and ties it around her with a cute knot at top center. It is adorable, cute, and most importantly covers up her body from too much exposure. You can see that she can play along the beach with her kids and feel comfortable and adequately covered. She is certainly a beautiful lady with a great sense of style.

I love this coverup idea. Only a supermodel would come up with this, but you can see it just works. Next time you are wearing that bikini, cover up a bit with a lightweight crochet or lace scarf. Choose a neutral color and tie at the center. The toned down color of this scarf makes the perfect accessory for her navy blue swimsuit as it does not overwhelm the swimsuit. With a neutral toned scarf coverup like this you will have a great effortless look that is fresh, clean and just pretty. Even though she is wearing a one piece she has the same level of coverage as a two piece by adding the lace scarf. Nice sunglasses too.

I saw an article on Estee Lauder limited edition bronze goddess capri collection on Spoilt by pink Diva. It’s an Australian lifestyle blog that features fashion and beauty. I couldn’t agree more than them on loving this photograph of Hilary Roda in a dazzling gold Bikini!

Hilary Rhada is so gorgeous as well! She is a younger version of Elizabeth Hurley for sure. Like Hurley she’s a stunning brunette chosen to represent Estee Lauder. Rhoda is so pretty that she also appeared as Sports Illustrated model. Her body is as incredible as her face and hair. Try a gold swimsuit against a deeper sun-safe spray tan to get this luxe look.

I love this picture from Estee Lauder. The gold swimsuit is so flattering. Her animalistic hair and natural toned makeup is amazing. This is the kind of look you want to get from a combination of bronzer makeup and fake tan. Getting this tan naturally is a no-no and too damaging for the skin. But with makeup and tanner? Way to go!

The best thing about her outfit are the casual cotton pants thrown on over her swimsuit. The gauze material is perfect for swimsuit cover up attire. Light weight and breezy, these pants could cover a plethora of figure flaws. Big rear, thighs, or cottage cheese on the legs? These pants will cover it and at the same time look appropriate if worn at the beach or pool. Even though they are long the white color and thin sheer material makes the gauze wide legged pants perfect as a swim suit cover up.

As we age we can get pretty bad cellulite running down the legs. Many women wouldn’t even dream of putting a swimsuit on because of lumpy legs. Help has arrived. Try a very light weight cotton pant with a loose elastic or string tie waist. Way more breezy than sweats, the sheer fabric fits in and looks sexy at the same time. I love her fashion and the gorgeous boyfriend sure doesn’t hurt as a great accessory either!

10 Tips to a Beautiful Summer Body

To make yourself look slimmer try darker solid colors in the areas that need shape control. In addition, go for brighter colors in your most attractive areas to draw attention to those.
Try mix and match bottoms and tops because this lets you choose a top and bottom that fits the best to each of the top and the bottom. It also lets you get more or less coverage and support depending on where you need it.
For a larger chest look for styles that have a good support band and halter ties rather than spaghetti strap shoulder ties
Avoid all over flow prints and get prints that have solid colors in at least some of the print
Only buy tankinis if you can use the top to wear as sexy clothing since that makes a tankini more sensible and lets you pair it with shorts or a skirt cover up.
For a small chest try bandeau tops with bright detailing
Don't just hide a particular flaw and then think you're done, you must couple that with drawing attention to another more positive area of your body
For shorter legs try a monokini or scoop style bottoms that go up higher on the sides since that always elongates the legs
If you are overweight don't hide everything make sure to use your cleavage to your adavantage as that is sexy and draws attention away from weight issued areas
For a boyishly thin figure try exotic one piece suits with prints and cutouts. Cutouts always give the illusion of curves
For a thick waist try a solid cover in front but show some interesting bare back or interesting neckline to draw attention away from the belly
Swimsuits with solid colors tend to slenderize while swimsuits with patterns tend to add curves. Make sure to use or combine these figure flattering concepts to the right areas
