malai-memento-monokini

This Malai monokini is featured as a new design for Malai Swimwear 2013.  New though it is, this swimsuit definitely has the vintage look to it with the unique whimsical fabric.  It is called the Vintage Memento Monokini.

This monokini features a bandeau style top.  The top provides soft cups, ties at the back, and features a keyhole cut-out in front center of bandeau.  The bottom provides moderate coverage to full cut covereage at the rear and this swimsuit is fully lined.

Great look for long torso and small chest

The best thing about this suit is the fabric and look that inspires vintage.  The type of figure that this swimsuit is going to flatter is a very slender, tall girl with a longer torso.  A longer torso is going to look shorter in this look.  Also, this is flattering for a small chest.  A long torso girl with a small chest is also going to love this swimsuit because of the back.  It flatters the bottom and buttock nicely.  The back tie is cute in a peachy pink color.  For a long-torso girl that wants a retro hippie cool look this swimsuit is perfect.

South Beach Swimsuits

This Jets 2013 Purity retro swimsuit is so gorgeous! What a fantastic retro style that is absolutely figure flattering! Yes it is expensive topping two hundred dollars but Oh my my, this retro bathing suit looks spectacular on the model. No surprise I found it featured on South Beach Swimsuits as their online store carries some of the hottest South Beach designer swimwear.   They have a great selection of figure flattering styles.

Slenderizing tummy

Swimsuits that have a panel or ribbing coming down the center of the tummy tend to slenderize as they create a color block on a thinner, inner swatch of the tummy. This comes at a price usually because they often feature the vertical tummy paneling in a totally separate color so it becomes a “give-away” that the objective is tummy slimming. Not with this swimsuit though! It’s got the slenderizing tummy panel but instead of a different color being used it just re-seams the printed material with piping going down the panel.  If you look closely you can see that the tummy paneling arcs in at the waist then arcs out slightly at the bottom/hips.

Tummy slenderizing piping flatters the figure and creates curves

This tummy panelling arc is a great figure flattering idea! What it does is make the tummy look the skinniest right at the center of the tummy (through the waist) and then it flares out at the bottom to accentuate her sexy hip curves! If you have a straight up and down figure this bathing suit will give you the instant illusion of a voluptuous hourglass shape.  It makes the body look curvaceous.

Deep plunge halter top with plenty of support shows off nice cleavage

Look at the top too, it is so adorable. The retro styling screams glamour but the look is contemporary and classy too! I love the flattering halter straps which are going to give plenty of support to a larger or saggy chest. Totally sexy. You can really take advantage of showing off the cleavage in this bathing suit. Halter tops that have straps at the outside of the suit towards the underarms always make cleavage look even bigger.  I love the fact there is a little lace accent sculpting through the middle of the bra area, because it adds a little frill and focus to the breast area.  This swimsuit flatters the chest.

This JETS swimsuit by designer Jessika Allen is featured is one of the best retro style bathing suits I’ve seen. Featured by popular online swimsuit store South Beach Swimwear.

swimwear-styles-2013

Back in the day, Natalie Wood rocked this swimsuit in this classic picture with her cutie!  For summer 2013, the one piece swimsuit is back in style!  This particular swimsuit shows how you can have a very flattering look with decent coverage.

One piece swimsuit ala Hollywood glamour

Her chest is covered, her bottom is amply covered, and any tummy pooch or love handles she’s got are going to be covered too.  Yet notice the suit still has that sexy little string going across the back.  And, it has a very moderate but sexy little scoop back as well.  This is exactly the detail you should be looking for in a one piece.  There are places where a little string flatters and you don’t need a micro bikini to accomplish that sexy little oomph.

Plenty of coverage, with little strings for femininity

The thin dainty string ties at each side of the hip can hide a wider thigh and this illusion is most welcome.  Notice also the thinner spaghetti strap on the suit which gives it a feminine overall appeal even though it really has quite a bit of body coverage.  The little strings all tie in with the sexy string across her back.  Notice the interesting textured material which is far better than the loud and obnoxious floral prints you see with many of the plus sized styles.

Overall this suit is a winner.  If you need one piece coverage be sure to look for dainty little details like the sexy spaghetti straps, tie string in the back, and thunder thigh hiding side bow ties.  You’ll be covered but still va-voom sexy in a swimsuit such as this one.

Ultimate swimsuit buying tip

Here is the ultimate tip ladies, don’t buy a so-so swimsuit.  Keep shopping and try on 50 swimsuits if you need to, until you find that one suit that really looks the best on you.  It’s worth the suffering because you will feel that much more confident wearing it.
