Get swimsuit ready

Summer is here and if you are still whale white, hairy, with winter fingers and toes it’s time to put your game face on and ready for bikini season. Better late than never! When it comes to swimsuit season you don’t want to leave everything until the last minute and be suddenly faced with wearing a swimsuit.

To get ready for your big day, you can do a few beautifying things to up your confidence. Consider paying for one or more of the following: a manicure, pedicure, wax, and spay tan. Yes it does cost money to buy these things or do it yourself, but trust me you will be strutting at the pool way more confidently after some strategic bronzing, grooming and polishing.

Summer time pedicure

First things first, hit the pedicure place. During the winter you can get away with do it yourself pedicures at home. In the high time of summer however, it may be worth the money spent to buy yourself a beautiful brand new pedicure. They last a few weeks therefore in the grand scheme of things your investment is not so big. Hit the pedicure throne and get a beautiful professional pedicure. Try a beautiful french pedicaure for a clean fresh look, or get a twinkly little accent diamond or beautiful paint color.

Spray on tan

While you are at the shop check out if they have a menu of waxing or tanning services. An organic professionally done stray tan can really boost your confidence. The results last about a week so the spray tan is something to do when you are about to strut yourself poolside. A lighter color spray tan will look the most natural and give you a wonderful healthy glow. Protect with sunscreen and you’ll be saving face without wreaking UV ray havoc on yourself.

Brazilian wax job

A Brazilian wax job may be just the thing so that when you flaunt that swimsuit you don’t have tendrils of unsightly hair peeking out from your swimsuit. You would be surprise that a little bit of grooming that only takes an hour or two goes a long way to getting you summer read. Invest in yourself and you will be instantly ready to conquer the beach, pool party, or resort with confidence.

Whatever happened to natural beauty? This picture of Sophia Loren in a bikini from years ago shows that even though she wore gobs of makeup and false eyelashes, she oozed a sort of natural beauty that was indescribable.

Some say that there never was natural beauty with the old Hollywood movie stars, and that the system changed the starlet’s look long before they became stars. I disagree as surely the stars wore makeup and got surgical enhancements from chest augmentation to rhinoplasty. They took advantage of such things. But even with the false eyelashes and cosmetic enhancement, Loren still exuded an inspiring natural beauty and confidence that was unmatched.

50% might have been makeup and photo retouching but 50% was that she was naturally confident which is beautiful in and of itself. When it comes to looking fabulous in a swimsuit, confidence is the essential element to success. You do not even need to see her outfit as her look says it all. She just exudes an incredible confidence and allure and of course this translates into looking incredible.

10 Tips to a Beautiful Summer Body

To make yourself look slimmer try darker solid colors in the areas that need shape control. In addition, go for brighter colors in your most attractive areas to draw attention to those.
Try mix and match bottoms and tops because this lets you choose a top and bottom that fits the best to each of the top and the bottom. It also lets you get more or less coverage and support depending on where you need it.
For a larger chest look for styles that have a good support band and halter ties rather than spaghetti strap shoulder ties
Avoid all over flow prints and get prints that have solid colors in at least some of the print
Only buy tankinis if you can use the top to wear as sexy clothing since that makes a tankini more sensible and lets you pair it with shorts or a skirt cover up.
For a small chest try bandeau tops with bright detailing
Don't just hide a particular flaw and then think you're done, you must couple that with drawing attention to another more positive area of your body
For shorter legs try a monokini or scoop style bottoms that go up higher on the sides since that always elongates the legs
If you are overweight don't hide everything make sure to use your cleavage to your adavantage as that is sexy and draws attention away from weight issued areas
For a boyishly thin figure try exotic one piece suits with prints and cutouts. Cutouts always give the illusion of curves
For a thick waist try a solid cover in front but show some interesting bare back or interesting neckline to draw attention away from the belly
Swimsuits with solid colors tend to slenderize while swimsuits with patterns tend to add curves. Make sure to use or combine these figure flattering concepts to the right areas
