volcom-swimwear Volcom has really been putting their foot forward over the last few swimsuit seasons with brilliantly bold and pretty swimwear collections. These designs are not the classic string tie bikinis you would expect from a surf brand, which is exactly why they are so cool! If you want to stand out in the crowd as anything from art-deco to tribal-cool the cult classic surf brand Volcom is serving it up. This one piece bandeau wrap is from their Be Bold collection. With a neon loud splash of bright colors, this bright swimsuit has become an ultimate favorite. The patterns on the swimsuit, the fact that it is strapless, and the throw back to the Norma Kamali days of the wrap around monokinis are all daring. Wear sunscreen to avoid irritating tan lines with this hot number. Throw on jean denim shorts over this swimsuit and you’ll look like you are wearing an interesting wrap around top with cut outs.

Create a slender waist with curve appeal

If you are one of those girls who wants an hourglass silhouette this style will give a better illusion of hips on her, coupled with a tiny looking waistline. The Be Bold collection is the type of swimsuit you can really shine in. This particular style of wraparound really compliments pale skin and creates a small waist. Notice how the bandeau and then the cutouts accentuate the hour glass aspects of her figure. If your waist needs a little more definition, try one of these almost two pieces, as the material through the midriff creates a good hourglass figure illusion. This makes her waistline look curvy and sexy. If you want to be bold, beautiful, and surf inspired, check out Volcom swimwear. You can find their styles directly from Volcom or at many of the high end surf shops and boutiques. This one is bright, bold, and definitely inspiring. She’s ready Cabo Wabo!

Swimsuits for short legs

Did you know that certain types of monokinis are quite flattering for women who have short legs and/or petite figures? There are! Particularly for shorter legs, swimsuits that cut up high on the outer leg will do wonders. Think back to the high cut leg swimsuits that Christie Brinkley used to wear back in the day.

If your leg is short, the worst thing that you can do is wear a hipster swimsuit, a low-slung bottom, or a low waisted bottom. You want to create a longer illusion of the leg instead. Do this by wearing a swimsuit with a higher cut outer leg. Whether it be with a scoop bottom, tie side, or monokini, you definitely want to expose more outer leg and have the swimsuit sit much higher on your leg. This will create the look of more skin and the look of a longer, leaner leg.

As you can see with this particular swimsuit, if you have some skin up the leg and side of body showing, it creates a longer leg illusion. Another tip for short legs is to wear a wedge heel. Wedge heels are casual and beach appropriate, yet give a short-legged girl more height, which makes their legs look longer. Select a wedge shoe that is a natural tan color and blends with the leg. A monokini style bikini paired with wedge heels in a neutral color will visually add inches to short legs.

bikini-coverup-pants

How much do I love these 2014 Sandoratto white cover up pants? A lot!  I love these and I also love South Beach Swimwear as they put together the cutest combinations ever to get hipster looks like what you see in this photograph.

Cellulite

Do you have cheesy legs with dimples and cellulite?  Some women have cheesy legs, some don’t.  I definitely have the cheese issue.  Now, if you have dimply legs your options for looking slim in a swimsuit are diminished.  You can’t exactly hide the legs.  This is particularly true for older women. Aging, gravity, and having children not to mention gaining and losing weight can leave your skin loose with little to hold it up by.  Where does it go, south.  You get the look of cellulite but much of it is actually skin that has lost elasticity.  It’s loose and it drapes.  Toning exercises help but you can’t stop the hands of time completely.  Some women really get this problem bad, others don’t get it at all.

Now I am going to share the two very best tips for hiding and minimizing these types of leg problems.  The first tip, is to wear a kimono style robe.  The kimono cover up is great because you can still wear a bikini but put this lightweight robe over it which does wonders for hiding the pudge.  A kimono is genious for a large bottom, love handles, and larger hips and thighs.

Slimming beach pants

For even better coverage than the kimono, try a pair of flowing and loose beach pants.  You can find these in the lightest weight cotton or gauze material.  Pair the gauze beach pants with a bikini top and some cool beach accessories to give yourself a beach inspired look.  Now you look like a summer goddess.  But guess what, your legs are covered brilliantly.  This is the best solution for women who are just too self-conscious about the legs to go bare.

What a fabulous look overall.  I love, and did I say love this.  Her turban, necklaces and the fun halter bandeau bikini top are so hipster and adorable.  The beach pants just fit the offbeat look perfectly.  If she has a large bum, thick thighs, or just off looking legs, you would literally never know it.  See ladies, you can wear a beachy outfit while covering up your flaws, and still look cheerful and fun.  You wouldn’t have a clue that she was trying to hide something about her body.

Sandoratto

These Sandoratto 2014 White Cover Up Pants have a black/white polka dot thick elastic waist band with elastic around the ankles for a perfect fit.  I can’t say enough good things about these pants.  If you want to cover and conceal a problem buttock or legs, this is your answer.  Inspired!  Check out South Beach Swimsuit boutique on-line for more of their simply great summer fashion ideas.
