Mod Cloth online store really just gets it with the plus size swimwear they select for their store. I found this one piece swimsuit called Coupe of Tea on their size, and wow is this a cutie pie swimsuit. Would you believe that this swimsuit got four out of five stars out of over sixty reviews? That tells you, that it flatters and fits just like it should.

On a warm day, there’s nothing better than being beach-bound in your vintage car, so why not have a vintage inspired plus size swimsuit too? This black and white checkered thigh slender miracle is a checkered swimsuit by Girl Howdy.

Hide heavy thighs

The red halter ties are the winning feature of this swimsuit and exemplify all that you need to know in order to flatter a plus size body and heavy thighs. That pop of red just lifts your eyes up when you see it, therefore the onlooker is attracted upward and she gets a plastic surgery free instant body lift. The red halter straps that pop in color are genius here. Subtle ruching and comfy cups also keep this look fabulously flattering. This draws attention away from the heavy thighs and towards the luscious aspects of her figure.

The classic swimsuit coverup, believe it or not, is a button down man’s shirt! You can find these in the men’s department at the local department store. Look for a color that matches your swimsuit in a cool and inspiring way.

Depending on how much coverage you need for your figure, that will determine the size. You can get a men’s shirt that has quite a bit of length in the back to easily hide some jiggle and marshmallow of the figure. This is a smart way to go because it conceals flaws while at the same time making you look like total girlfriend material!

Looks that men love

There’s been many a survey done about favorite things that men love and adore to see women wearing. Guess what, a man’s shirt is high up on the list! This is a great look, classic, and you can get the look anywhere. Just wash the shirt to soften it up, and roll up or cuff the sleeves. You can wear open and down, or even tie a know at the front if you like that.

10 Tips to a Beautiful Summer Body

To make yourself look slimmer try darker solid colors in the areas that need shape control. In addition, go for brighter colors in your most attractive areas to draw attention to those.
Try mix and match bottoms and tops because this lets you choose a top and bottom that fits the best to each of the top and the bottom. It also lets you get more or less coverage and support depending on where you need it.
For a larger chest look for styles that have a good support band and halter ties rather than spaghetti strap shoulder ties
Avoid all over flow prints and get prints that have solid colors in at least some of the print
Only buy tankinis if you can use the top to wear as sexy clothing since that makes a tankini more sensible and lets you pair it with shorts or a skirt cover up.
For a small chest try bandeau tops with bright detailing
Don't just hide a particular flaw and then think you're done, you must couple that with drawing attention to another more positive area of your body
For shorter legs try a monokini or scoop style bottoms that go up higher on the sides since that always elongates the legs
If you are overweight don't hide everything make sure to use your cleavage to your adavantage as that is sexy and draws attention away from weight issued areas
For a boyishly thin figure try exotic one piece suits with prints and cutouts. Cutouts always give the illusion of curves
For a thick waist try a solid cover in front but show some interesting bare back or interesting neckline to draw attention away from the belly
Swimsuits with solid colors tend to slenderize while swimsuits with patterns tend to add curves. Make sure to use or combine these figure flattering concepts to the right areas
