cute-striped-bikini

The Beach Bunny “We Found Love” triangle bikini top and matching triangle bikini bottoms are so adorable! This is a striped swimsuit that really rocks it. It comes in the black or red version of the bikini and is sold through Nordstrom online.  The We Found Love bikini is perfect for a weekend of romping food, fun and sun poolside in Las Vegas.  It helps to have a gorgeous guy in tow as well!

What is unique about this striped bikini is the muted accents on the top and bottom and also the small ruffles. The red version of this suit was made famous earlier this year by Courtney of Courtney and Ben Bachelor fame.  If you don’t know, Ben Flajnik and Courtney Robertson were a controversial bachelor couple.  They had a rocky past and Courtney seduced Ben at the expense of friendships with the other girls on the show.

Courtney seduced then got the guy but the women hated her!  Courtney was wearing this swimsuit suit at a recent promo party at a swank Las Vegas pool party.  She rocked this bikini out in the red and white version of it!  I believe the shots were taken at the Wet Republic Ultra Pool at the MGM Grand hotel.  It almost seems tame as compared to their risky skinny dipping escapade on the television show.

If you want to look hot like Courtney and it’s your time to shine be sure to try out this Beach Bunny winner. The cute top works great on a smaller chested woman and the bottoms give ample coverage while still looking seductively adorable. It’s your time to shine is the perfect motto for this winning Nordstrom bikini. As Courtney said on the bachelor show … winning.

Metallic swimsuit fabrics seem to withstand the test of time. They come in and out of trend but these Oscar shiny suits always look twinkly on a woman regardless of what is in style at the moment. For the more mature woman, a sexy one piece style can be age appropriate yet still sexy and chic. An older figure may not be able to handle all of the exposed skin of a two piece or a bikini.

This light gold/beige metallic number from Spiegels is a figure flattering winner. Usually, belted swimsuits look awkward and too much like clothes. However with this suit the belt blends in enough and gives her a cinched middle. Very sexy. It looks like a Linda Carter or even Farrah Fawcett type look. Wonder woman!

This Speigel suit is sexy and has a youthful edge however it is conservative enough for an older more mature woman. The solid color swimsuit is going to flatter a mature figure and make the person look slim. The suit has plenty of support with padded breast cups, substantive fabric and the removable belt. The spaghetti straps are sexy but the suit is still sturdy.  Her gold hoop earrings are the perfect accessory.

This swimsuit style would look great on a stylish woman in her mid forties and older. It is a great look for the luxury resort pool or for a spa vacation. Wear it to the Venetian hotel in Las Vegas, the luxury Spa like La Costa for example, or for your top of the line vacation Cruise.  You will look like a million bucks in this sophisticated style.

Are you a woman who worries about hiding flaws in your swimsuit more than anything else? This is a common fear women have. They want to cover everything with figure flaws such as a chubby or loose skinned belly, a large buttock or love handles. Plus size women get into even more fears as they may not like the way their arms or chest looks. I have a best friend who is plus sized and she hates to show her cleavage when in fact her cleavage is a great asset!

She also hates the bat-wing look of the arms and shuns swimsuits for this reason. Whenever she wears a swimsuit it is likely to be dark colored, conservative, and frumpy. She winds up looking like a blob and guess what shows the most when you do that? The flabby arms! If you cover too much you wind up doing nothing to flatter your figure. Does this sound like you too? If so, you need to understand that your mind for a swimsuit should consider not just coverage. You must adopt the idea of bait and switch. Bait and switch means that you don’t just cover flaws you showcase assets. Showcasing assets is the key to looking better in swimwear. Every woman has some nice aspect to her figure and that’s what you must play up in order to play down the figure flaws.

So what if you feel that there is nothing on your figure to show off? Never fear there is always some aspect to your figure that is a positive and even if there isen’t you can expose an unexpected area of skin that makes a feature where there was none before. Look at this swimsuit depicted here, from designer Cala Ossidiana. It’s got the homemade, crochet, bikini look to it but it is extremely well constructed and far from flimsy. What’s great is that this unique swimsuit makes the woman’s back into a feature! If you have a chubby belly or flat chest for example, why not play up your back? It’s a great idea.

Most women have pretty nice backs yet they don’t realize that they can play them up. This suit is also flattering to the bottom with the scoop round bottom and the knotting at the lower back. It’s adorable! Remember that you can utilize a flattering color or feature an unexpected area of skin in order to downplay your other flaws. Bait and switch is an important trick for looking better in a swimsuit. Don’t just hide and cover the flaws. Play up and draw attention to your best assets because that minimizes the flaws and diverts attention away from them.
