I recently came upon this chic retro inspired swimsuit for tetris gaming fans. It was featured on a blog website called If its hip it’s here. This cute black design is sexy with colorful fun inspired geometric blocks and sexy matching leggings.

This swimsuit is put out by Black Milk Clothing of Australia. Their fabulous leggings and swimsuits have been around for a while. This retro game design pattern is inspired by the classic video game called Tetris. Designed by James Lillis this swimsuit and legging set is made of Polyester/Spandex. It was limited edition, so is sold out and no longer made, although you can probably find this set by surfing the web for resale swimwear.

You have the legs, now get the bod. You can even swim in them. That was the logo for this cool retro gamer swimsuit set. You’ve got to go check out the store Black Milk Clothing. They have really cool museum like designs. What a cool, hip store! Black Milk Clothing company of Australia sells leggings, swimsuits, bodysuits, skirts, tops, catsuits, suspenders, jackets, gym clothes, and shorts.

Australia’s Black Milk Clothing features cool one of a kind designs with themes like adventure time, hogwarts, star wars, middle earth, mass effect, sesame street, corpse bride, nightmare on elm streets and gremlins LOL. So retro. Their prints on their one piece swimsuit malloc are literally the coolest ever! Pretty much everything this ingenious clothing company puts out is limited edition. Their swimsuits are modeled with platform combat boots.

I love this geometric color block swimsuit. It has a retro-inspired look plus it features that Naughty inspired color block. It reminds me of Kirsten Stewart or Miley Cyrus’s style. I saw this swimsuit featured in a wonderful Glamour magazine article on style trends and I believe it is from designer Baku.

Baku Australia is one of Australia’s leading swimwear companies. The style directors are brother and sister, Dax and Tamara Bykerk who are also the designers behind the successful swimwear label.

I like their exotic cut-outs and sleek one-pieces which can make younger and women alike feel confident and sexy. Slender and waif figures can pull off the high waist swimsuit

Slender and more waif-ish figures can pull off the retro inspired swimwear trend. With a boyish figure, you can carry that high-waisted bottom look off. If this trend is a little too forward for you, there are many color-block theme swimsuits similar to this that come in one-piece and more classic two-piece bikini styles.

The strong color clocking can make a smaller chest look enhanced and can give an otherwise boyish figure the appearance of more curves. The strong, darker colors are great for a fall thru winter swimwear look too. I like the edgy feel of this and it goes well with the edgier spiky jewelry and pointed toe shoes that we are seeing in style for fall 2013.

I absolutely love this picture from Elle. So gorgeous! The dazzling zebra bikini in a bright neon green makes it different, along with the high-waisted retro-inspired bikini bottom. This bikini bottom looks awesome paired with a crop sweater to match the green. Her jewelry is fun. Of course this look is a little high fashion for the beach but it really inspires and the pieces shown actually are wearable. Love the black contrasting with the neon green.

Her makeup and hair are excellent. She has natural makeup yet not that her lips are stained red, her brows penciled in, and she has plenty of mascara and eye liner. It is contrasted with a perfect summer glow and quintessential messy beach hair. To get this hair make sure to wash the day before and sleep up in a soft tousled bun. The next day shake loose and work a dab of texturizer balm in to hair shake and go. A few strategic caramel highlights makes the messy hair really pop and gives it a golden glimmer. What a wonderful photograph from Elle.

10 Tips to a Beautiful Summer Body

To make yourself look slimmer try darker solid colors in the areas that need shape control. In addition, go for brighter colors in your most attractive areas to draw attention to those.
Try mix and match bottoms and tops because this lets you choose a top and bottom that fits the best to each of the top and the bottom. It also lets you get more or less coverage and support depending on where you need it.
For a larger chest look for styles that have a good support band and halter ties rather than spaghetti strap shoulder ties
Avoid all over flow prints and get prints that have solid colors in at least some of the print
Only buy tankinis if you can use the top to wear as sexy clothing since that makes a tankini more sensible and lets you pair it with shorts or a skirt cover up.

For a thick waist try a solid cover in front but show some interesting bare back or interesting neckline to draw attention away from the belly
