This South Beach Solids faux-wrap swimsuit designed by Kenneth Cole New York teaches a lesson in figure slimming. Now looking at this swimsuit on a hanger it would look rather boring and even bulky. But if you tried it on, it might look nice. Any swimsuit with a wrap around sash-ed waist is going to do wonders for a big tummy and/or love handles. It totally hides, conceals and smooths them down.

If you’re flat chested but at the same time have a tummy or love handles to conceal, then buying a swimsuit can be tricky. The plunging neck line looks great on a flat chested woman. You can make a flat chest look incredibly sexy in a one piece with a plunging neckline. But if you add to that a pudgy tummy or big hips, a skimpy plunge neck suit can show all the bulges if the fabric is smooth. That’s where this suit comes in. The neckline is cute but the body has the faux wrap around material that hides pudgy. The solid one color in the darker gray is great too as an alternative to black. That’s why Kenneth Cole does so well, their ideas are right on!

Ladies if you are flat chested with tummy or hip pudge then look for a plunging v-neck swim suit that has a sashed, ruched, faux or real wrap around waist. Are you trying to cover up a large buttock or other swimsuit flaw? Do you know that self-conscious feeling when you have to get up in that bikini or swimsuit and make your way over to the food stand to get a beverage? It’s one thing to look good when you are lying down flat on your back in the lounge chair with everything carefully adjusted. It’s another thing to wear just the swimsuit for that diet coke walk. Everyone stares because that’s what they do at the pool is people watch.

Here ladies, is where the perfect swimsuit cover up comes in handy. Gone are the days of the cover-up that matched that bikini in a skimpy cheesy neon flimsy nylon fabric. You’ve got to get more original and show your own sense of style. You’d be amazed at what you’ll come up with. The good news is that this is where those slinky sheer tops look appropriate. They can be thrown over the swimsuit for a pool or beach cover up.

If you’re at an outdoor rock festival you’re going to want something casual and low-key such as a crochet cover up, jean shorts or your boyfriends button down. But if you’re in Vegas or at the luxury resort hotel in Beverly Hills, you can get a little more fancy and creative with that swimsuit cover up. Try a sexy robe or lacy open shirt, sweater, shawl, scarf or robe.

You can throw a little number like this on over your swimsuit and it will make the biggest of derrierires or wide thighs look cute. Seriously will!

I am not much into the trendy look, but rather go for whatever looks cool, unique, and figure flattering. That being said I’ve noticed that fringe bathing suits have come in style since 2010 and stayed in style all the way into 2012. Just the other day I noticed a number of fringe tops displayed prominently in the Nordstroms swimsuit section at the fancy local mall West-side Pavillion in Brentwood, California.

Please be a little younger to don this fashion forward trend. I picked this swimsuit because I though the girl looked sexy and the darker color muted down the fringe a little bit. I’ve seen the fringe in bright neon color bikini tops and paired with floral print bottoms as a mix and match. This one is opposite the trend but I like the rich warm color of it. Also, I like the special D-ring accent on the bikini bottoms. To look as good as this young beauty, you’ll have to buy a fake spray on tan from the local mystic tan salon.

This bikini is called the Audrey Fringe Diva D Ring. It’s new by L*Space bikinis for 2012. The taupe color would be appropriate for someone a little older who wants to be trendy but not over the top with the girl-ish neon. This one looks more mature. Remember, you have to be the fashion trend type woman to pull this type of suit off. Saw this suit on bikini-swimsuit-2012, and it’s called Audrey by L*Space.

10 Tips to a Beautiful Summer Body

To make yourself look slimmer try darker solid colors in the areas that need shape control. In addition, go for brighter colors in your most attractive areas to draw attention to those.
Try mix and match bottoms and tops because this lets you choose a top and bottom that fits the best to each of the top and the bottom. It also lets you get more or less coverage and support depending on where you need it.
For a larger chest look for styles that have a good support band and halter ties rather than spaghetti strap shoulder ties
Avoid all over flow prints and get prints that have solid colors in at least some of the print
Only buy tankinis if you can use the top to wear as sexy clothing since that makes a tankini more sensible and lets you pair it with shorts or a skirt cover up.
For a small chest try bandeau tops with bright detailing
Don't just hide a particular flaw and then think you're done, you must couple that with drawing attention to another more positive area of your body
For shorter legs try a monokini or scoop style bottoms that go up higher on the sides since that always elongates the legs
If you are overweight don't hide everything make sure to use your cleavage to your adavantage as that is sexy and draws attention away from weight issued areas
For a boyishly thin figure try exotic one piece suits with prints and cutouts. Cutouts always give the illusion of curves
For a thick waist try a solid cover in front but show some interesting bare back or interesting neckline to draw attention away from the belly
