I am not much into the trendy look, but rather go for whatever looks cool, unique, and figure flattering.  That being said I’ve noticed that fringe bathing suits have come in style since 2010 and stayed in style all the way into 2012.  Just the other day I noticed a number of fringe tops displayed prominently in the Nordstroms swimsuit section at the fancy local mall West-side Pavillion in Brentwood, California.

Please be a little younger to don this fashion forward trend.  I picked this swimsuit because I though the girl looked sexy and the darker color muted down the fringe a little bit.  I’ve seen the fringe in bright neon color bikini tops and paired with floral print bottoms as a mix and match.  This one is opposite the trend but I like the rich warm color of it.  Also, I like the special D-ring accent on the bikini bottoms.  To look as good as this young beauty, you’ll have to buy a fake spray on tan from the local mystic tan salon.

This bikini is called the Audrey Fringe Diva D Ring.  It’s new by L*Space bikinis for 2012.  The taupe color would be appropriate for someone a little older who wants to be trendy but not over the top with the girl-ish neon.  This one looks more mature.  Remember, you have to be the fashion trend type woman to pull this type of suit off.    Saw this suit on bikini-swimsuit-2012, and it’s called Audrey by L*Space.

If you want to dazzle in that bikini or one piece swimsuit this summer you must be prepared to shop, shop and shop. Rather than buying that floral frumpy one piece, you have to be willing to shop for unique and inspired swimwear. This is true for the girl with the perfect body and even more true for the plus sized woman.

Try on alot of swimsuits, 30-40 until selecting one to buy. Before buying a style online make sure to try on similar concepts in the local stores. You can find some true gems online but be prepared for some returns and headaches as you can never tell what something will look like until it is on you. Still though, if you are looking for something unique then online is where you’ll find it.

Look at this Kenneth Cole Reaction blue under-wire bikini top as inspiration. The unique strapping, fabric, color and even the back tie which you can’t see in this photo is original. It has a rainbow strap with white, pink, orange and brown at the back.

This is the type of piece that is so original. You could pair this with a brown bikini bottom or tan, and look absolutely amazing. Or, match bottoms to one of the colors in the back tie such as emerald green. Mismatched pairing of tops and bottoms to create a unique combination is 100% in style right now for 2012.

This one was located on the online marketplace bonanza.com which has the motto everything but the ordinary. Cool! Remember that online shared sites that sell original and barely used apparel can be gold mines for finding that unique swimwear.  The different vendors sell unique items that you wouldn’t come close to seeing in your local department store.  Try bonanza, etsy, ebay, amazon, thisnext for ideas and novelty inspired pieces and inspiration!

Some bikinis look ordinary and some bikinis look extraordinary like this bikini by Verde Veronica.  Found this wonderful bikini on UK Swimwear.  Remember when you shop for that bikini or swimsuit you want to find the one swimsuit that really looks incredible.  This is a bandeau style suit with a halter neck style by Verde Veronica.  The central neck tie threads though a square decorative adornment on the top.  You can untie the neck tie for the person tan experience and fold the adornment down.

The cups on this suit have pads that can be removed and the neck strap and back strap are adjustable.  The best thing about this swimsuit is the spectacular green sequins on the top with the completely unique design.  Combined with the pale gold background the look is striking and will make you stand out from the crowd.  It just proves that some bathing suits are a cut above.  You want to find that suit that make you look amazing.  Remember that the average woman should try on 40 swim suits before buying one. If you haven’t tried on 40 suits you probably don’t know what swimwear colors and styles look the best on your figure type.  To find the perfect suit with the perfect fit, style and pattern takes a little effort but it is worth it!
